WA Surf, incorporating West Oz Kiteboarding, offers a comprehensive 6-day kiteboarding course in the beautiful surroundings of Greater Perth, Western Australia. This all-inclusive experience is designed to take you from the basics to confidently riding upwind.
On your first day, you''ll learn the fundamentals of setup, safety, launching/landing, water recovery, and flying a trainer kite. Once you''re comfortable with the theory, you''ll move into the water, bodydragging with a 4-line inflatable kite. With a maximum of two students per instructor, you''ll receive personalized attention and guidance.
As you progress, you''ll be introduced to the board and focus on getting up and riding as quickly as possible. With the help of helmet communication, your instructor will be in constant contact with you, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience. The goal is to have you riding upwind, allowing you to set up at the beach, head out, and return to your starting point.
By the end of the course, you''ll receive an IKO card indicating your level of proficiency, which will enable you to hire kiteboarding equipment worldwide. This course is perfect for those interested in surfing Australia, as kiteboarding is an exciting alternative to surfing.
