Region X offers a unique Glass Bottom Kayak Tour in the pristine Cullendulla Nature Reserve, located in the beautiful Wollongong & South Coast region of NSW, Australia. This family-friendly 2-hour experience is often referred to as a ''Wildlife Safari'', aiming to spot as much wildlife as possible, both above and below the water.
The innovative Perspex portholes in the kayaks allow for underwater viewing, where you can discover stingrays, crabs, fish, octopus, and more. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins playing, kangaroos grazing on the shore, and soaring sea eagles.
This kayaking adventure takes you through the mangrove maze, teaching you about the significance of this coastal vegetation and the protected species that call it home. Learn about the Reserve''s fascinating Aboriginal history and why it is now a protected sanctuary zone.
The tour runs twice a day, with the morning tour recommended for the best conditions and most wildlife activity. Before you go, you''ll receive a kayaking lesson, making this experience suitable for first-time paddlers too.
